Growing
What does the container automate?
It manages the fruiting environment with cooling, heating, humidification, ventilation and lighting. Preset and custom recipes adjust settings through fruiting. People load bags, inspect crops, harvest, clean and maintain the system.
What must I supply?
Arrange mature, fully colonized bags from a third-party supplier, the site, utilities and people to run the farm. Preparation, sterilization, inoculation and incubation happen outside the unit. Canadian service includes the specified Starlink/4G connection.
What yield should I expect?
The Standard reference is approximately 0.5 lb per bag per round: approximately 2,000 lb / 907 kg from 4,000 bags. Actual sellable yield depends on variety, bag quality, layout, crop management and losses. It is not guaranteed.
Is every crop ready in 10 days?
No. Approximately 10 days is a fastest harvest reference for select varieties under optimal conditions. It is not a fixed production schedule or a promised annual output.
Can I grow different varieties together?
An undivided container shares one environment. Plan a batch around compatible needs. Separate containers can run independent recipes.
What is the interior made from?
Mushroom racks are made from plastic dip-coated iron, with stainless-steel interior walls and an aluminium floor. The racks are replaceable, and the interior supports washing with water for cleaning and maintenance when substrate bags are replaced.
Where does the growing process start?
Use fully colonized substrate bags from a third-party supplier and begin fruiting after loading. Preset recipes and custom settings manage the fruiting environment, while operators load bags, inspect crops and harvest mushrooms.
When should I clean and maintain the unit?
Carry out cleaning and maintenance of the whole unit whenever substrate bags are replaced. Between changes, follow system reminders to arrange checks and maintenance. Customers can monitor operations themselves, and the monitoring centre also sends notifications for abnormal readings, maintenance and cleaning needs, and abnormal system operation.
Automation
What happens if the internet drops?
Cloud control and remote monitoring require continuous connectivity. The edge gateway holds the current state during short interruptions; this is not a claim of fully autonomous offline operation.
What does sensor accuracy mean?
The stated ±0.3°C, ±1.5% RH and ±30 ppm values describe sensors. They do not mean every part of the container remains within those limits at all times.
How is ozone treatment handled?
Treatment is between batches with the space unoccupied, using safety interlocks and a ventilation purge. Follow the supplied procedure and confirm all-clear before entering; it is not an occupied-space growing function.
How long is environmental history stored?
Environmental readings, including temperature, humidity and CO₂, are recorded and retained in the cloud for at least three months. Historical data helps growers review conditions during fruiting and investigate production issues.
How do threshold alarms reach me?
Threshold alarms are available for all controlled environmental parameters. When a parameter exceeds its configured threshold, the system sends email and SMS notifications so operators can investigate and respond.
Can I use my own recipe?
Preset fruiting recipes are provided for commonly grown mushrooms, with support for custom settings. The system automatically adjusts environmental parameters through the fruiting process to suit the crop and production batch.
Can I change settings remotely?
A responsive H5 web app supports access from phone, tablet and desktop browsers. All environmental control parameters can be adjusted remotely, allowing growers to check fruiting conditions and update settings.
How is air exchange managed?
The system uses CO₂ readings to determine when air exchange is needed and includes spore filtration and a rinsing system. Maintenance reminders notify operators when the filtration or rinsing system requires attention.
What climate systems are available?
The system provides cooling, heating and humidification. Temperature and humidity settings can be configured for different mushroom-growing requirements and managed through the fruiting process.
Can I manage multiple containers?
Each container can run its own fruiting recipe, while a single account can manage multiple containers. This supports separate production batches and gradual expansion. Equipment must be redeployed after relocation.
Pricing & support
What is the Canadian service-plan fee?
The mandatory base plan is CAD 1,500/month, separately billed. It includes the cloud platform, remote monitoring, Starlink/4G equipment, SIM and monthly data/subscription fees, plus one-time on-site training and commissioning at initial delivery. Online remote service responds within one business day. Contract terms and the supplied network option are established in writing.
What support and warranty are described?
Online remote service responds within one business day. On-site installation and commissioning are available in Canada; installation pricing and coverage are set in the quote. Manufacturer warranty references are 3 years for the structure, 1 year for parts and lifetime remote technical support, subject to written coverage and exclusions.
Deployment
What do I need before delivery?
Plan access and lifting, a suitable site, electrical service, water and drainage, continuous connectivity, mature bag supply, harvest handling and cold storage. Qualified local providers handle regulated site work where required.
How long does delivery take?
The manufacturer reference is 8–12 weeks for Standard and Compact, and 12–16 weeks for Custom. Peak periods may add 2–4 weeks. Your confirmed quote sets the schedule.
