Define the same production scope
Compare spaces intended for fruiting mature, fully colonized bags. Substrate preparation, sterilization, inoculation and incubation happen outside MycoFrame. A comparison that includes those activities on only one side is not equivalent.
Start with your existing site
An available building can change the decision. Assess access, usable layout, insulation, drainage, environmental equipment and installation work for each option. Obtain local professional advice on applicable requirements.
Compare ongoing responsibilities
Include utilities, labour, cleaning, maintenance, connectivity and any recurring service charges. A container still needs site preparation and people; a converted room still needs suitable climate control. Neither option is universally cheaper.
Ask for comparable quotations
Give each supplier the same crop, bag format and operating requirements. Confirm usable capacity for the actual layout. Choose on verified project conditions rather than a general promise of lower cost.
