Identify the bottleneck
Is the constraint fruiting space, climate consistency, labour, bag supply or customer demand? Additional space addresses only some of these. Start with records from your existing operation.
Match the crop and supply
Check that your supplier can support the proposed schedule with compatible mature bags. An undivided container shares one environment. Different crops may need separate containers and recipes.
Plan the work between harvests
Allow for cleaning, bag replacement, handling, storage and delivery. Do not multiply a fastest harvest reference into a fixed monthly production promise. Compact capacity must be confirmed separately; Standard figures do not apply automatically.
Prepare an expansion brief
Describe your current operation, the constraint, site, planned crop and timeline. Include confirmed demand separately from hoped-for sales. A useful quotation should explain equipment, services, site work and the responsibilities that remain with your team.
